Landasan Filosofis Ferdinand de Saussure mengenai Struktur Bahasa

Abstract

Ferdinand de Saussure is known as the father of modern linguistics. He is known for his scientific views on structuralism. To express this scientific view, it is necessary to make assumptions in expressing Ferdinand de Saussure’s view of the structure of language. How do we understand Saussure’s view? In this paper, the biography of Ferdinand de Saussure related to linguistics, Ferdinand de Saussure’s thoughts on the structure of language, and a critique of Ferdinand de Saussure’s thoughts are presented.
